An Apple a Day...

I know it's a little late for this post, but the Sargent parents have been tied up in, well, parenting.
In September, we were so very blessed to get to buy Washington apples for super cheap (super cheap for living in this dry land where nothing grows...).  And they were good apples, so I bought, um, one-hundred and sixty pounds of them.  Oh yes I did.

So, what exacly does a family do with one hundred and sixty pounds of apples?  Well, we eat them, and we make apple butter (oh-my-goodness-amazing apple butter), and we make lots and lots a applesauce for the freezer.  And then we eat them some more.
